Developing inner calm is nothing more than:
1. being focused on the way I think
2. being aware of how powerful my thoughts can be
3. understanding the affect they can have on my state of mind, my quality of health, the energy in the room, the vibrations I feel towards others
Maintaining inner calm is about spending time being still and thinking thoughts that create lightness inside my mind.
The more I think thoughts of lightness and peace, I create a habit that becomes natural. And this habit will also bring benefit not just to myself, but also to those around me and the wider world.
Through doing this, I am inwardly nourishing my natural state of wellbeing and happiness.
